What is the difference between this product and the standard Air Wick Autospray?
The motion sensor – so not only does it perform throughout the day with regular bursts of fragrance, it also detects movement giving you an extra burst when needed.
Will it go off every time something moves then?
No, the autospray has been designed to prevent excessive bursts of fragrance in a short period of time. Once movement is detected, the device will halve the time setting you have it on for the next two bursts of fragrance before returning to it’s normal setting.
- Example: 9 minute interval setting
- Movement is detected – releases a burst of fragrance
- 4.5 minutes later – releases a burst of fragrance
- 4.5 minutes later – releases a burst of fragrance
- Returns to normal setting – releases a burst of fragrance every 9 minutes until movement is detected again
Why is my Freshmatic imotion not spraying any fragrance?
If no spraying occurs after switched on for 15 seconds place switch on the side of device to "OFF". Remove the aerosol refill and push the red lever up. Direct the device away from your face. Set the device by setting the time control control to the needs of your home. When activated, a one second green light indicates that the device is working and it will spray after a delay of 15 seconds. If there is no green light, check the batteries are inserted correctly. Close the device and place it where chosen ensuring it is fixed securely.
